North Lombok Tour is a full-day excursion providing you with a comprehensive experience of Lombok, combining visits to natural treasures for picturesque scenery, as well as chances to discover the unique Sasak culture and traditions of the island. TOUR PROGRAM

Start your unforgettable excursion with pre-arranged pick up service at your hotel. Your dedicated guide will escort you during a scenic drive along the west coast of Lombok in a chaeuffeurred vehicle. Passing through some coastal villages, drive towards the northern part of the island with a stop at Akar Akar village located in Bayan district to discover the culture of indigenous Sasak in their traditional village.

Ascend from an altitude of 300 – 400 metres above sea level in Akar Akar, then proceed to Senaru village, where the climate is cooler and the views spectacular. There is majestic ocean scenery to the west and a spectacular volcano peak to the south. A small, rustic village is nestled between the base of Mount Rinjani and the edge of the jungle; Senaru is the key gateway village to a challenging and invigorating trek up Mount Rinjani.

Visit also Sendang Gile waterfall. Situated about 600 metres above sea level, the waterfall is 31 metres in height and the refreshing water is believed to come from the ‘fountain of youth’ – anyone who bathes in the water will supposedly look one year younger than their real age. From the entrance, proceed on foot then descend the 200 steps before crossing a bridge to finally arrive at the base of the waterfall. After getting refreshed at the waterfall, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue on with the journey to Sembalun Lawang village. Known as the paradise on the slope of Mount Rinjani, a guided leisure walk leads you through tropical vegetation of fruits, vegetable and rice fields as important sources of livelihood for the locals. Pass a bamboo forest and end the walking trail at the ancient village of Beleq. After enjoying some local coffee and snacks, drive back to your hotel and arrive in the late afternoon.
